Volunteer Projects

Make a difference to the people and wildlife of our beautiful country and volunteer in South Africa. Volunteer projects are ideal for people looking for meaningful ways to spend 2 weeks to 3 months of their time.
Our projects are established and coordinated by EDGE of AFRICA and related professionals, making sure that the work is continued year round. We need assistance with all our projects in the form of dedicated, hard working and enthusiastic volunteers.
Volunteer Projects:
  • Volunteer projects are open to South Africans as well as all international nationalities
  • Volunteer projects are open to individuals, couples, families and groups
  • Volunteer projects are available for 18 years +, however certain projects facilitate under 18's if accompanied by a responsible guardian 21 years +
